There is nothing to start and nothing to join: Mrtn waits in your menu bar and wakes up when a call does. Here is what it does before, during and after a call.
Before the call
If you allow it, Mrtn reads your upcoming meetings from your Mac's calendar, read-only. It knows who is on each call and prepares a brief in one click, researched in your past calls and the tools you connect, such as your CRM.
When a call starts
Mrtn notices when a call app starts using your microphone, asks whether to record (or just starts) and stops when the call ends. It works with Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Google Meet, Webex, Slack huddles, GoTo Meeting, RingCentral, Aircall, Dialpad, FaceTime and Whereby.
No bot joins the meeting. Mrtn records your microphone and the call's audio right on your Mac, the way you hear it. Telling the people on the call is up to you, and playbooks can remind you to ask for their consent where the law requires it.
During the call
- A live transcript of both sides, in more than 60 languages, including calls that switch language mid-sentence, with speaker labels. Your playbook's terms, competitors and attendees' names come out right.
- Coaching on your playbook. Nudges on what to mention, what to ask and how to handle the objection you just heard, with battlecards for the competitor they bring up. Playbook items tick themselves off as you cover them, in any language.
- A floating overlay over every app, Space and full-screen call, left out of screen sharing by default, so the people on the call don't see it.
- Ask Mrtn anything with one shortcut (⇧⌘K unless you change it), from any app. It searches your knowledge base, your tools and every past call.
- Your tools, with your say-so. Connect your CRM, calendar, email and docs through MCP. Lookups run on their own mid-call; anything that changes data waits for your click.
After the call
When you hang up, Mrtn writes the call's summary and action items, a scorecard, the follow-up email and a CRM note. The next actions are ready for you to approve. Mrtn can also tell the speakers apart in a second pass over the recording.
Then Mrtn asks whether to share the call with your team, or follows the sharing rules you set per kind of call. Until you share it, the call is yours alone.
In-person meetings
Drop a recording of a meeting on Mrtn, or use File › Import Recording…, and it is transcribed and summarised like a call. When several people spoke into one microphone, Mrtn tells the voices apart and asks which one is you.
A Limitless Pendant works too. Mrtn connects to it over Bluetooth and its recordings come to your Mac, where you choose which become meetings. No Limitless account is needed, and nothing goes to Limitless or Meta. Using your Limitless Pendant with Mrtn explains how.
For teams
Mrtn is set up for a whole organisation. Admins invite people and choose who else is an admin. Shared calls appear under Team calls in the app, the organisation's playbooks reach every Mac on the team, and anyone can make a playbook from one of their calls.
Your data
Recordings stay on your Mac. Live audio streams straight from your Mac to transcription in the EU, and Mrtn's servers never store it. Transcripts, summaries and playbooks are stored in the EU. Call results are deleted from Mrtn's servers after your organisation's retention period. The privacy policy explains what goes where.
Getting started
Mrtn is in private beta. You need a Mac with macOS 14.2 or later (Apple silicon or Intel) and an invitation from your organisation: download the app, open it and sign in with the email you were invited at. No API keys, nothing to configure. To get Mrtn for your team, join the early-access list or write to hello@mrtn.tech. More answers are in the FAQ.
